Abilities catered for: All standards from beginner to experienced. Sorry, we cannot cater for children.
Pricing information: From GBP 50 to GBP 1500 per week, excluding flights.
Company profile: Adventure riding trips in Argentina, Chile, Tanzania and Uruguay.
Destination Profile: Kilimanjaro: This is an 8 night itinerary with 7 days riding between Mt. Meru to the south, Lake Natron Game Controlled area to the west, Mt. Kilimanjaro to the East and the Kenya border and Amboseli National Park to the north. Hatari: Ride in the footsteps of John Wayne in the vintage movie 'Hatari', shot in 1962 on location north of Mt. Meru in Tanganyika. Wayne had a great time of it catching wild rhino from a bucking Toyota pickup, chasing gazelles across the savannah at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, drinking sundowners around the blazing campfire. We re-live the vintage movie's atmosphere and some of the action. Lake Natron: An expeditionary ride that represents a challenge for any experienced rider. The 450km route descends from Mt. Meru into the Lake Natron Game Controlled Area, an extensive wilderness surrounding the largest and most remote of the soda lakes in the Great Rift Valley. This is the heart of Maasailand, with Oldonyo Lengai (God's mountain) having particular cultural significance for the Maasai tribe.
About the horses: Well-tempered, fit horses.
