Company profile: "There is still a Spain to discover..." Since 1994 Equiberia has been in the business of creating the most interesting rides to share with you the less known and best preserved sites of Spain.Top quality week-long rides in the Gredos Mountains and Valleys, in the heart of Castille;charming country hotels and luxurious Paradores; exquisite aperitifs and picnic lunches; beautifully trained horses willing to take you through the wild open landscapes and the remote villages of the hidden Spain. We also offer long weekend rides.
Accreditation: Equestrian center Spanish Tourist Board registered
Destination Profile: Our rides are organised in the region of the Gredos Mountains, South West from Madrid, with very diverse landscapes and climate; in the provinces of Avila, Toledo and C?ceres, in the regions of Castilla and Extremadura. Three different rides: The Northern Valleys of Gredos, with magnificent mountain landscapes, pristine rivers for invigorating swims in the summer, and remote small medieval villages that show the truly rural Spain; the Southern Valleys, with open rolling landscapes studded with holm and cork oaks, sandy terrain excellent for long trots and exciting canters and beautiful lakes rich in bird life; and the Ride Across the Gredos Mountains, with the greatest contrasts in the landscape, from the fertile southern slopes with olive, cherry and chestnut trees to the alpine vegetation of the northern valleys; riding the horses to the summer pastures in the spring and to the winter pastures in the autumn.
About the horses: Excellent Hispano-Arab, Andalusian, Lusitano and Arab horses, about 15-16hh. Very well trained, sure-footed, good-natured, well behaved, fit and fun to ride, lively and sensitive. They all have a basic training in dressage and will fulfil experienced riders' expectations. The best compliment for us is when you praise the quality of our horses.
